Shifting Baseline
Speculative, interactive exhibition
2025 This project explores the topics of environmental generational amnesia and shifting baseline syndrome by sonically speculating the baselines of nature from different points throughout time on Earth.

One CD speculates nature’s soundscape in the year 1025, one in 2025, and one in 2125.  The design, inspired by and sourced from a 1990s atlas, uses environmental diagrams to convey urgency.

They seek to remind the audience that the environmental issues our Earth face are not young.
