My third year dissertation investigated how permaculture design challenges contemporary western society’s systems and structures.
This coptic bound publication communicates my 6000 word essay in a digestible and engaging manner, with its tactile build of cyanotype stained wood and screen printed seed paper covers honing a premium user experience facilitated by relevant process and care for materiality.
The spread designs feature typographic illustrations which utilise the organic forms of the woodblock typeface HWT Brylski.
I also produced three laser cut bookmarks, also designed using glyphs from the typeface for a relevant emphasis on hand-craft.
