Isopod
Speculative brand experience
2025 - 26
This project responds to environmental generational amnesia, fuelled by the decline of Britain’s biodiversity and the growing disconnect between urban populations and nature.
Isopod seeks to inspire urban audiences to build terrariums.
This offers valuable education in ecology as well as enhanced connections to nature.
I cultivated a brand identity around this project, with touchpoints including a terrarium building kit, as well an app to centralise the experience in a modern environment.
Growing Resistance
Dissertation publication
2026
My third year dissertation investigated how permaculture design challenges contemporary western society’s systems and structures.
This coptic bound publication communicates my 6000 word essay in a digestible and engaging manner, with its tactile build of cyanotype stained wood and screen printed seed paper covers honing a premium user experience facilitated by relevant process and care for materiality.
The spread designs feature typographic illustrations which utilise the organic forms of the woodblock typeface HWT Brylski.
I also produced three laser cut bookmarks, also designed using glyphs from the typeface for a relevant emphasis on hand-craft.
Ambilogue
Brand Experience + Product design + Packaging design
2026
A speculative project which communicates a childhood memory of rainfall on a window into brand experience.
‘Ambilogue’ offers analogue ambient noise products, such as rainmakers, which reduce stress or stimulate focus through a visually pleasing and minimalist form and function.
Deliverables include a well honed brand identity, with elements such as custom typography and colour theory, packaging design, advertising campaigns, as well as a rainmaker product which I both physically produced and 3D rendered using Blender.
Its advertising campaigns utilise my own photography which situate the brand as being adaptable to its surroundings and desired function.
The Voice of the Water
Surfers Against Sewage live brief winner
2026 (ongoing)
Coursemate Charlie Scott & I were chosen to produce a music video for Surfers Against Sewage, in collaboration with artist Martha Tilston and the Pupil Power Assembly.
Using an adaptable circular motif, the video highlights the interconnection of water at all levels, from the tiniest of organisms, to global currents, to us.
This unifying visual frame encourages us to recognise the finely balanced relationship between ourselves and the water.
Our video’s 1:1 aspect ratio makes the video easily transferrable across multiple media platforms, and giving the video an immediate, distinct recognition factor.
Our additional touchpoints seek to facilitate an enhanced viewing experience of the video, connecting our audience to the subject matter through playful form and function.
Video to be publically released soon.
Speculative, interactive exhibition
2025
One CD speculates nature’s soundscape in the year 1025, one in 2025, and one in 2125. The design, inspired by and sourced from a 1990s atlas, uses environmental diagrams to convey urgency.
They seek to remind the audience that the environmental issues our Earth face are not young.
Revolve
Art Direction, Speculative Studio Identity
2025
Visual identity for a speculative design studio made up of designer and close friend Charlie Scott and myself.
As ecologically oriented individuals, we positioned our practice as being directly in nature, with our processes, ideas and outcomes being informed and inspired by such.
Personal photography
I’ve always had a love for taking photographs. I prefer to use older equipment, expired film or damaged cameras. I mainly try to capture the relationships and tensions between human infastructure and natural landscapes.
The above gallery contains are few shots, captured on digital and film cameras.
Fly For Free
Photography & Art Direction, Publication Design and Print
2025
A risograph zine which explores the activity of bodysurfing and its connected experiences.
It features photography which was taken from an authentic bodysurfing session.
It features custom typography which has been texturised by physically growing salt crystals over print and scanning in at high definitions.
Salt crystals were also grown on the pages and photographed at the beach to add a deeper dimension of texture and tactility.
London Calling
Lyric Video + Album Identity
2025
In response to a live brief set by designer Jimmy Turrell, I worked collaboratively to redesign The Clashs’ iconic album ‘London Calling’.
After deeply researching the social and cultural context surrounding the album, we decided to employ a distorted wartime aesthetic which commented on authority, establishment, and British tradition & culture.
Touchpoints include CD and vinyl packages and sleeves, as well as a 1 minute animated music video for the title track “London Calling”.
